    Establishing the relationship between the electrochemical activity of a surface and its chemical structure is extremely important for the development of new functional materials for electrochemical energy conversion systems. Here, we present a fast method, which combines a theoretical model and density functional theory calculations, for the prediction of nonadiabatic electron-transfer. To get round two main difficulties of the kinetic study of fast reactions of high-temperature decomposition of energetic materials (EM) (spatial non-isothermality and self-inflammation) two new methods for sample preparation called “mechanical dilution” and “thermal dilution” were applied. In the first part of the presentation, some experimental and theoretical data on kinetics of fast.

    The main focus lies on the determination of reaction kinetics with and without product gas inhibition as well as on thermal deactivation behavior. For this reason, experiments were carried out in a pressurized high-temperature entrained-flow reactor. The reactor is designed for temperatures of up to °C and pressures of up to 50 bar.   In order to investigate and characterize the product obtained after the thermal dehydration kinetics study, mcallisterite mineral was placed in a Protherm MOS /4 high temperature furnace with 10°C/min temperature increment to a maximum temperature of °C in nitrogen flowing (5 mL/min) atmosphere.
